This is so incredibly cool! Prettypegs is a brand new Swedish company, and they produce and sell awesome legs for IKEA sofas and beds. You can choose between different shapes and models, and then choose your color or color combo. They even come in wood (teak, ash, or painted) with a brass toe! All the pegs are custom made in a family owned factory in Tibro – Sweden. Delivery time is approximately 30 days, and they ship worldwide. I´m  gonna have to order a pair for my bed!

Typography Scrabble

This is without doubt the coolest and most luxurious Scrabble set ever made! It´s limited edition, and comes with a solid walnut board and storage case with drawers, a solid birch cover, and of course walnut tiles with different fonts. Available here from August 2012.

Meet the corkers

The Corkers is a fun collaboration project between design studios Monkey Business and Reddish, and it consists of collectable animal parts that can bring bottle corks to life at any dinner party. Each package contains parts for one creature, and you can choose from six different; bear, buffalo, bunny, crow, deer and monkey. Coolest of all you can mix the parts around and make your own fantasy animals.

The “Vaffel” pot holder is shaped like a traditional Norwegian waffle with heart-shaped pieces, and is designed and produced by BarkBazar. Made of silicone, the waffles come in nine colors, and can also be used on the table as pot stands. Available in selected Norwegian stores and through Bark Bazars website. Cool, I want a whole stack of them!

Painting with a typewriter

Came across this awesome typewriter via Colossal. This conceptual art piece is made by painter Tyree Callahan, and is in fact a modified 1937 Underwood Standard typewriter. By replacing the letters with color pads, and placing matching hued labels on the keys it has become a “painting device” called the Chromatic Typewriter. Very very cool!
